Data Protection & AI Transparency Notice

This service uses AI-powered agents that provide information only and do not make autonomous decisions. By signing in, you acknowledge that you are interacting with an AI system, in accordance with Article 50 (transparency obligations) and Article 4 (AI literacy) of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689). Your personal data (username, IP address, and conversation logs) is processed for the purpose of operating this service, ensuring quality, and fulfilling the accountability principle established in Article 5(2) of the GDPR. Additionally, your interactions are logged with a pseudonymized user identifier (a non-reversible hash of your username) for scientific research purposes, under the legal basis of Article 6(1)(e) (task in the public interest) and the safeguards of Article 89 (processing for scientific research) of the GDPR. These pseudonymized logs may be used to study AI transparency, explainability, and user interaction patterns within the UNINOVIS research programme. All data is processed exclusively on infrastructure operated by the Universidad de Málaga and is not transferred to third parties. You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, and portability by contacting the Data Protection Officer at dpo@uma.es.
